Vapalape launches its AI assistant: the price comparator that answers you

The comparator, now as a conversation

Comparing vape prices is already what we do. But until now, you had to filter, sort, open several product pages and cross-check offers yourself. Today we make it simple: ask your question in plain language, like you would ask a shop assistant, and it answers you — with real prices, up-to-date stock and the relevant stores.

Vapalape's AI assistant doesn't "guess" anything. It relies only on the comparator's data: current prices, per-store offers, price histories and availability. No made-up numbers, no rough estimates — the same figures you'd see browsing the site yourself.

Vaping is for adults only (18+). The assistant helps you shop; it does not give medical advice.

What it looks like

Head over to the Chat with the assistant page. You're greeted with a few example questions and a simple input bar.

Ask your question — the assistant thinks, queries the catalog live, then puts together a clear answer: the best pick, its price, its stock, and often a short price trend so you know whether it's the right moment to buy.

Usage examples

Here are the kinds of questions it handles really well:

  • "Which fruity e-liquid do you recommend under €10?" → a data-backed recommendation, with the current promotion and cheaper alternatives laid out in a table.
  • "What is the best price for a pod kit right now?" → the cheapest offer of the moment, with the store and stock status.
  • "How much is an Aegis Touch T200 pod today?" → the current price and the stores that carry it.
  • "Has this product dropped this week?" → the day-by-day evolution of the lowest price.
  • "Where can I buy it cheapest?" → the offers compared across retailers, from lowest to highest.

The idea: everything you could look up by hand on the comparator, phrased in a single sentence.

How it works, in a nutshell

The assistant has a small toolbox wired into the comparator's database:

Capability What it provides
Product search Find a product and its current lowest price
Per-store offers Compare a product's price across retailers
Price history Track the lowest price day after day
Product attributes Volume, nicotine level, specifications
Category listing Explore the comparator's product families

When you ask a question, the assistant picks the right tools, fetches the real data, then writes its answer from those results. If it can't answer, it says so honestly rather than making something up.

For power users: the MCP connection

The assistant is also exposed through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that lets AI clients like Claude query the comparator's data directly. The server is read-only: it looks up prices, offers and histories without ever changing anything.

In practice, you can add Vapalape as a "connector" in Claude and ask for your price comparisons straight from your usual assistant. Configuration details are on the AI Assistant — MCP page.

A beta that will keep growing

The assistant is available right now in beta. We keep improving it: sharper recommendations, new capabilities and ever more complete catalog coverage.
